Hyperion XIII was founded by Brian J. Leitten, an Emmy award-winning television and film producer and director who has worked with MTV, Vevo, Facebook, Fox Sports Network, Outside Television, McDonald's and Clean & Clear. In 2011 Brian directed and executive produced the multi-award winning film The Last Wild Race, a documentary on the Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race in Chile. For the past 5 years he was the Director of Production at Vevo, interviewing and filming with everyone from Lorde to Nine Inch Nails. In 2012, Brian co-founded the Production Master Class at the University of Cincinnati and has been the director for its five documentary projects. In 2014 the University of Cincinnati honored him with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award for his work with the university.
